What is VANQUISH ME?
Vanquish ME is an FDA-approved procedure for eliminating unwanted fat. It is non-invasive, does not touch the skin, does not cause pain, and involves no downtime. Vanquish ME uses radio-frequency to warm the fat layer of the abdomen or thighs, raising the temperature of the fat cells to a degree that makes the fat cells die off (undergo apoptosis).
CoolSculpting is also non-invasive method of fat removal, but instead of heating fat like Vanquish ME, CoolSculpting freezes fat. Vanquish ME uses radiofrequency energy in an adjustable panel that hovers less than an inch over the skin. The radiofrequency energy easily passes through the skin to heat the fat layers, while the energy is blocked from passing through muscle below. The energy causes heating of fat cells leading to cell death termed “apoptosis.” The elimination of fat cells leads to a decreased thickness of the fat layer.
